Dr. Ajibola Abdulkadir is a pan-African healthcare leader whose career spans clinical medicine, multinational healthcare commercial strategy, executive leadership, and cross-sector partnerships.
Trained as a medical doctor, she began her career in frontline practice before transitioning into healthcare commercial roles where she guided multinational and regional teams, developed inclusive engagement strategies, and built trusted partnerships with governments, NGOs, and community leaders.
Her journey reflects a deep commitment to access, equity, inclusion, and opportunity, with a track record of driving operational scale across West Africa, championing women’s leadership and forging collaborations that strengthen systems and create lasting social impact. She has also worked in health education and consulting, further broadening her perspective on the intersections of development, leadership, and community empowerment.
Passionate about giving back, particularly to women, children, and underserved communities, Dr. B as she is fondly called, has been engaged in social impact initiatives for many years; from volunteering at the 2009 Special Olympics to supporting church and community-led outreach programs to mentoring girls through leadership initiatives. She brings to the board a unique blend of professional expertise, cross-sector experience, and a values-driven commitment that strengthens organizational governance and strategy for long-term impact.
